MIAMI BEACH ACCOUNTING FIRM: 

POSITION: SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT 

 Candidates should have:

• Minimum 3-5 years of strong corporate & personal tax return preparation experience, with experience preferably from a CPA firm

• Excellent computer software skills and good working knowledge of QuickBooks  & trial balance software. 

• Experience in preparing Annual Corporate Income Tax Returns (1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041, 1120-F, 990)

• Experience in preparing Annual  Individual Income Tax Returns (1040, 1040NR, Multi-State Individual Tax Returns)

• Experience in preparing Payroll Tax returns (941, 940, RT-6, W-2 & W-3)

• Experience in preparing annual, quarterly or monthly sales and use tax returns and communicate to clients regarding tax payments for the due dates

• Maintain tax calendars with filing due dates for all tax and reporting obligations  

• Experience responding to tax notices from various governmental authorities

• Experience in preparing Compiled & Reviewed Financial Reports

• Financial statement preparation experience, is preferred for this position, but not required. 

• Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly changing environment.

• Self-directed and self motivated; excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Excellent verbal, writing, organizational skills and attention to detail

• Candidate who is a CPA (or CPA candidate), is preferred for this position, but not required. 

• Bilingual – English/Spanish is a plus, but rot required for this position.
